Rules & Regulations
A calm, courteous house.
A few house rules keep Timilo a peaceful, secure and considerate place for every guest. They are simple, and our team is always happy to explain anything in person.
- Management lien on guest’s luggage & belongings. In case of delayed payment, management may place a lien on luggage and belongings and sell or auction them after 10 days following departure, applying the proceeds to any outstanding dues.
- Dress code. Guests are requested to wear formal attire for dining. Slippers are strictly prohibited.
- Guest’s valuables, cash, jewellery, etc. The hotel disclaims responsibility for lost or damaged belongings not entrusted to management, regardless of cause.
- Management rights. Management reserves the authority to deny admission or require a room to be vacated if guests disturb others.
- Damage to property. Guests bear financial responsibility for property damage, charged at actual replacement cost.
- Room keys. Keys must be surrendered at reception when leaving and during check-out; guests are not permitted to carry room keys while going out. Charges apply for lost or damaged keys.
- Hazardous goods. The storage of hazardous materials — including gas cylinders, cooking stoves, drugs, firearms and inflammable fuels — is strictly prohibited.
- Government rules & regulations. Guests must comply with all applicable regulations regarding registration, alcoholic beverages, firearms and health protocols.
- Smoking. Prohibited in rooms and common areas (bar, restaurant, lounge). Guests may smoke on their private balcony without disturbing other guests.
- Visitors. Visitors are not allowed after 7 pm in guest rooms; visitors must provide address proof for security.
- Pets. Well-behaved pets are warmly welcome in our designated pet-friendly rooms. Please review and follow our Pet Policy, and declare your pet at the time of booking.
A note on pets. Our pet-friendly policy (code HPR-PFP-2025-01, effective January 2026) is the current standard and welcomes pets in three designated rooms — see the Pet Policy for full details.
